The Atelier

Nine hands. Twelve steps. One heirloom.

Everything at SWARNA is made slowly, deliberately, and by hand. It is the only way we know.

An artisan at work

Made in India

The oldest goldsmithing traditions, in the youngest hands.

We work with karkhanas that have been in the same families for four generations. Our master setters trained under masters who trained under masters. Every technique in our atelier has been walked, corrected and refined for more than a century.

01

Design

A pencil sketch, considered for weeks before it becomes anything else.

02

Illustration

Detailed hand-illustration to scale — the piece as it will be worn.

03

CAD

Precise 3D modelling, so every angle sits correctly against the skin.

04

Wax & Casting

Investment casting in our own furnaces, in small, careful batches.

05

Filing

Hours of hand-filing until each surface is quiet and true.

06

Stone Selection

Each stone hand-picked for cut, colour and life.

07

Setting

Master setters place each stone under 10x magnification.

08

Polishing

A twelve-stage polish, ending on rouge and cotton.

09

Hallmarking

BIS hallmarking on every piece — never assumed.

10

Certification

IGI or GIA reports for every certified diamond.

11

Quality

A final review by our head craftsman — the last eyes on every piece.

12

Packaging

Presented in a handmade Swarna case — cotton-lined, silk-tied.

Our Word

"If it can be rushed, it isn't ours."
